Create a bracelet with elastic thread

We like to have several bracelets with different stones. It is possible to make bracelets on wire, with a clasp, but this option is much less practical to remove. That's why we're going to teach you how to create bracelets with elastic thread."

Necessary material :

you will need:

an “Araldite” type glue
a toothpick
cutting pliers
fine flat pliers without teeth
elastic thread with a diameter smaller than the hole in the pearl (if you wish to make only one passage) or twice as small (to be able to double it or enter the pearls a second time, when closing;)
of your pearls and stones to compose your bracelet

Thread your pearls as you wish, with harmony.

Tip: double your thread if it is very fine!

Then, on a piece of paper, Prepare a dot of glue. Mix using your toothpick.

Tie a double knot on your bracelet when you have the right wrist size. Then put a dot of glue on the knot. Then another double knot.

Mary's tip: tighten well with the fine toothless pliers (without breaking the wire), to have a better grip when tightening.

Take each thread. Put one in the two beads to the right of the knot and the other in two beads to the left of the knot.

Tip: the glue needs to dry well and adhere well. I advise you to let it dry for at least 6 hours before wearing your bracelet. Araldite type glue will be dry after 24 or 48 hours depending on the model.
